Seaside Charmer

This time of year, I'm reminded of one of my dream vacation spots- Nantucket. And even though this boat house is really just used for overflow guests, I would love to cozy up to this space and watch the boats go by.

Nautical Summer Wedding invites

My infatuation with Maine continues...
A wedding in Bar Harbor sounds pretty fantastic- paired with this custom designed invitation suite, you border on perfection. Vintage map envelope liners, hand printed walnut veneer invitations and rope details have me thoroughly infatuated with Carolyn Sewell's work.

Summer Hair

Do you love the just-out-of-the-ocean styling a la Calypso's lookbook?
I do! And I especially love that look for hair; it's perfect for summer and this Daily Candy video gives step-by-step instruction to the look, sans curling iron.
For summer hair in a bottle, this looks like a great product.
You can also make your own sea-salt spray; recipe here!

Summer Lobster Bake

I took part in my first lobster bake while on vacation in Bar Harbor, Maine and loved every second of the New England traditional feast.
Proving that the fun need not be contained to the north east, San Francisco-based event designer, Alison Hotc hkiss, threw a birthday party full of great details- it would be the perfect backyard summertime feast regardless of location!
Summer sangria looks delish; this recipe looks especially interesting.
I'm a sucker for the festive table settings, especially the cute lobster place mats from Carrot and Stick Press.
Hope you all have a lovely weekend!

Bow-wow

I'm already thinking of excuses to buy this for the pup... doesn't a madras bow-tie collar scream 4th of July?!

Summer Celebration

Fresh off of vacation and in a celebratory mode, I'm inspired by this great blog to keep the good times going... all summer long. For the next couple months, here on Pink to Green, I hope to do just that by celebrating summer; from ripe stone fruit to lingering poolside and everything in between there are so many things to love about this season.

So lets get started shall we! Anne and Christie are setting fun goals for the summer (aka picnics and bonfires) what is at the top of your seasonal must-do list?
