What does your future look like?

Week 4 into participating in the Ashtanga yoga workshop, my practice has taken a markedly more prominent place in my life.  There is a calm and peace where there used to be worry and doubt.  Transformative stuff.  Need-to-stick-with-it-stuff.

In a recent class, we talked about goals.  Jen challenged us to think about a 10 year vision.  She challenged us to visualize where, what and who we see in our life in the future and not just the cookie cutter version that society subscribes.  I've started pinning to a vision board and collecting images that are helping me formulate those goals- big and small.  Snippets of the future.
What does you're future look like?

Love it! Sometimes I get a little worried about the future. I feel like I have to remind myself to let go every single day. I have to say that the best things in my life have been the surprises, the totally unexpected things- like yoga. I never thought I would fall in love with this practice, and in turn it has helped me to fall in love myself/my life. :) Thanks for sharing this. And I love every picture you posted. Hope you have a wonderful, wonderful day!

Love hearing how your new yoga practice is transforming you off the mat, as well as on. My practice has suffered a little due to our renovation and a crazy schedule.

This reminds me that I need to get back to the mat and stick to it. I find when I'm practicing regularly, I'm in the "flow" off the mat as well!

Happy Day!

This is really interesting. I hope that my future involves my own house and possibly, eventually, someone to share it with.

I LOVE the images on your future vision board! :) I definitely need to find my way back to my Bikram practice - it made me feel centered and calm like nothing else! Your posts on your Ashtanga workshop are so inspiring! How long have you been practicing?

Thanks for the reminder that I should be making time to take care of myself every day too! :) xx

Such a good idea! It's good to remind ourselves to stick with our dreams and goals rather than the ones society tells us to do or be. I might need to start one of these.
