Thanksgiving Project Week 10

I'm grateful for yoga. I'm grateful for the peace it brings to my life. I'm grateful for the peace it allows me to bring home with me and share with others. I'm eternally grateful that it has given me an outlet to dump my excess worry and anxiety {sometimes I have a lot of excess}.
For a while I had slipped into a non-yoga habit; busy with work has been my excuse. Well, I found a new studio close to home and am back on the mat and couldn't feel better chanting namaste.

Congrats on getting back on your mat! Sometimes a consistent yoga practice is an ebb and flow, so be gentle with yourself. Maybe on the days you can't make it to the studio, practice one downward facing dog at home (don't even bother rolling out your mat). Inversions are magical!

This post makes me desperately want to start doing yoga. I've tried many times in the past and find it too hard to truly relax and I also find myself (embarrassingly) engaging in competition with the other members in class. But of course I also lose in this competition because I am a complete novice!
Any suggestions? I'd love to feel the same kind of peace and love while doing yoga that you, and so many others, do.

You should definitely try Charlotte Yoga studio and go to a class by Grace. You will not be disappointed. She is the one who trained Tanner who owns your studio. I have been to many teachersin Charlotte and Graceis my absolute favorite. She will kick your butt though! And if you do go get there early because classes fill up.

Where do you go??!! I want to do Yoga! I heard there is somewhere in Ballantyne that has prenatal but I can't ever get down there by 5!
