Sweater Savers

Sweater season is official upon us and this year, I was determined to find a better way to care for my favorite garments in a more eco friendly fashion. I highly recommend the above two products and wanted to share!

Opposed to dry cleaning (which can actually damage many cashmere sweaters) The Laundress has a wonderful product that you can use at home to wash your woolies. It will not only save some cash but save your sweaters from harsh chemicals that could change the colors and feel. I love that they give step-by-step instructions for laundry challenged gals like myself.

And for those persnickety pills that seem to plague highly warn areas around the arms, the sweater stone is awesome. They sell an expensive one at the Laundress too, but shhhh, I found one for only $4 here.

i have this amazing soap from the uk which i use to launder my cashmere sweaters. it makes them feel and smell so yummy. the sweaters i don't care about, i just chuck in the washing machine, because cashmere doesn't felt like wool does. i do love the pill stone, too!

ohh great idea, I don't have the discipline to take things to the dry cleaner - so this is great!
