The Kiwi Way To Recycle Wine Bottles

A couple of weeks ago, I saw this at the French Markets in Auckland:

Recently, while doing some trip planning I found this:

Cute way to recycle empty wine bottles!

The second photo is from the beautiful Pegasus Bay Winery ; I'm hoping to stop here on our Christmas trip to the South Island. Its on the way, so why not, right?!

The interior of their restaurant features recycled Rimu wood and the menu is seasonable and focused on locally grown ingredients. Not only do they host the local Saturday farmers market, they have a natural amphitheater on the property that would be perfect to take in a summer show.

Discovering and touring wineries here in New Zealand could be one of my absolute favorite things to do!

Man people in nz are very creative. ARe there more places that use the wine bottles like that? That's so neat. I feel like nz is ahead of everyone else on recycling and being friendly to our earth.
