Northern Michigan is a gem. More specifically, Northern Michigan is a gem during the month of August when the temperature ideal and the cherries are ripe for the picking. The beaches and sunsets are among my favorite anywhere. Here are some pictures of us enjoying the best it has to offer from our vacation:
